About the Skateboarding Skeleton Artwork: In 1977, artist VCJ created two black-and-white posters to promote Bones wheels. A year later, Court began working on the concept of a skateboarding skeleton inspired by those posters. With the help of a life-sized skeleton named Rosie, Court meticulously crafted the image of a skateboarding skeleton. Completed in 1978, this artwork served as the first illustration for the new Powell Peralta brand, appearing on stickers and t-shirts.
